Dr. Robin Meyers Tells Us Why the Christian Right Is Wrong

In this controversial interview, Jerry talks with minister and commentator Dr. Robin Meyers about his book, Why the Christian Right Is Wrong: A Minister’s Manifesto for Taking Back Your Faith, Your Flag, Your Future.” Robin is a minister with the United Church of Christ, a Professor of Rhetoric at Oklahoma City University and a syndicated columnist and award-winning commentator for NPR. He has appeared on Dateline, ABC World News Tonight, and Jim Lehrer’s News Hour. In this program, the situation with fundamentalist churches being used by the Republican party is discussed in detail. He and Jerry also discuss many of his experiences in mixing religion, education and political views while living in a red state.
