BIG BUSHCO (The World-wide Corporate Order) needs some BIG MEDICINE to eliminate it as a threat to the real people, Homo Sapiens, of this planet and the planet, and all living entities therein, itself. Wake up to the truth and eliminate the diseased entities that have infected our planet. Use your synchronized voices and your written and unwritten thoughts to change the world. That is all it takes Homo Sapiens.

THE COWBOY AND THE BURNING BUSH
(He speaks to God everyday, you know.)

He also has a low opinion of the rest of humanity, as demonstrated by this repeated slip of the tongue: NEWSWEEK reports that President Bush, appearing before a right-to-life rally in Tampa, Florida on June 17, stated: "We must always remember that all human beings begin life as a feces. A Feces is a living being in the eyes of God, who has endowed that feces with all of the rights and God-given blessings of any other human being." The audience listened in disbelief as the President repeated his error at least a dozen times, before realizing that he had used the word 'feces" when he meant to say "fetus." To George, we are all just bags of S**T.

It has been pointed out by a viewer of this page, that the above story is a "joke" sent out via e-mail that is actually a fabrication. This may be the case, but there are great numbers of verifiable and recorded verbal gaffs of Bush that color the lies and deceptions that he perpetrates on the American people on a daily basis. These lies and deceptions are no joking matter. So, to our critic, we say thanks for pointing out that this particular story was a joke hoax, but look at our news links commentaries. We think you will find a great deal of truth behind our commentaries.

G W Bush Resume Updated

George W. Bush, The White House, USA

Past Work Experience

I ran for US Congress and lost.

I produced a Hollywood slasher B movie.

I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas; the company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.

I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.

With my father's help and name, I was elected Governor of Texas.

Accomplishments as Governor

I changed pollution laws in favor of the power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union.

I replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog-ridden city in America.

I cut taxes and bankrupted Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

I set the record for the most executions by any Governor in American history.

I became US President after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes with the help of major Enron money and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court.

Accomplishments as President

I attacked and overtook two countries.

I spent the US surplus and effectively bankrupted the US Treasury.

I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in US history.

I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.

My record for environmental issues is the least of my concerns.

I am the first president in US history to enter office with a criminal record.

I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one year period.

After taking-off the entire month of August, I then presided over the worst security failure in US history.

I am supporting development of a "Tactical Bunker Buster" nuke, a WMD.

I am getting our troops killed, under the lie of Sadam's procurement of Yellow Cake Nuke WMD components, then blaming the lie on our British friends.

I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by a US president.

In my first year in office over 2-million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.

I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any president in US history.

I set the record for least amount of press conferences than any president since the advent of television.

I signed more laws and executive orders effectively amending or ignoring the Constitution than any president in history.

I presided over the biggest energy crisis in US history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.

I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history and refused to use national reserves as past presidents have done.

I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in war time.

I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people) shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.

I've dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.

I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history.

I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.

I am the first president in US history to have almost all 50 states of the Union simultaneously suffer massive financial crisis.

I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in history.

I garnered the most sympathy for the US after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the US the most resented country in the world, possibly the largest failure of diplomacy in World history.

I am actively working on a policy of "disengagement" creating the most hostile of Israel-Palestine relations in at least 30 years.

I am first president in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.

I am the first US president in history to have the people of South Korea more threatened by the US than by their immediate neighbor, North Korea.

I changed the US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

I set an all-time record for the number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling their huge personal investments in corporations bidding for US contracts.

I failed to fulfill my pledge to capture Osama Bin Laden, dead or alive.

I failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the US Capitol Building. Even after 18 months I have no leads and no credible suspects.

In the past 18 months following the World Trade Center attack I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.

I removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any president in US history.

The Bushes - The Root of the Problem or the Face of It?
A Commentary by Larry Dicken
June 19,2003

by M. Kahil

From the New York Public Library-American History Desk Reference:
"1988 - George Bush, a Republican is elected president. His administration is beset by an ailing economy after the boom of the early 1980's comes to an abrupt end. Unable to jump start the economy, Bush is also seen by many Americans as uncaring on domestic issues. Despite this his popularity does not plummet-largely due to the apparent success of the war against Iraq-until the very end of his presidency."  (submitted by listener, Jim Crighton)

Is history repeating itself with Bush Jr. following the same road as Bush Senior? Then we can hope for another Democratic President to replace a failed Bush. But, remember, the corporate war against the American people has been ratcheted up tremendously this time. The first Bush tried to use a war to deflect our attention from a failing economy.

The second Bush has not only used war to deflect our attention from a failed economy, but also has helped cause the failed economy through his outlandish tax and regulatory relief for the corporations and their wealthy executives, has caused the destruction of and stolen the resources of two nations, has brought the wrath of terrorists to our shores, has set aside our commitments to many major international treaties, has encouraged continued corporate rape of the world environment, and perhaps most importantly has initiated the process of eliminating democracy and freedom within our country, and where it can, throughout the world. Bush Jr. is to Bush Sr. as Caligula was to Tiberius, a ego-centric, power mad demagogue seeded by a consummate master of bureaucratic deceit.

The Bushes are just the face of the entity that is destroying us. Remember, it is the power behind the throne, both corporate and individual that must be eliminated in order to bring down the emperor of the world and his empire. We deserve a united world, but one governed by the people, with true equality, freedom and diversity,  recognized and encouraged for all. If perchance, we could somehow take but one step in governing ourselves, we could lead the way for the rest of the world.

What is that step? Elect, while we still can, a Congress, a President, State Governors and Legislatures, that would eliminate all laws protecting corporations as individuals that are equivalent or greater in their status, rights and protections, as citizens, to you and me. Corporations, as currently constituted must be eliminated. In their places, new cooperative and competitive entities would be put in place to provide the goods and services people want or need. These entities would not be allowed to establish monopolies, but would be allowed to combine for economies of scale with the approval of the federal government.

These entities would have no political influence as, not being a citizen entity, they would not be allowed to communicate with government in any way. Lobbying organizations of any kind would be banned. All citizens would communicate their thoughts and opinions directly to their elected officials. The entities would also not be allowed to contribute monies to elect government officials. In order to assure true democratic election processes, campaign contributions from any source would be banned. The government would fund elections through a flat election funding tax and all media would be required to give free access to all candidates to conduct their campaigns. With these few changes in our laws, the people could finally achieve a true American democracy and help the rest of the world to follow at their own speed.

You validly may ask how we will get multi-national corporations under control world-wide so that they can not continue the policies elsewhere that are banned here?  First, any corporation that is incorporated within the US would automatically be governed by these new laws. They would as such cease to exist and their foreign subsidiaries would either follow suit or would be required to reincorporate where laws were favorable to them. Those step-children of the original US corporations would not be allowed to conduct business in or import goods into the US. This itself would probably result in their quick demise. Second, a vast majorities of the other national governments throughout the world would probably soon vote to join us in this vast economic restructuring, not only for their own economic protection, but also to celebrate an end to a tyranny that many of them already experience and oppose.

ONCE AGAIN, VOTE IN 2004! It may be your last chance to help bring about a change to true democratic government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Straighten out that elbow and pull that thumb in George, and you will get it right.

Dr. Lawrence Britt, a political scientist, wrote an article about fascism which appeared in Free Inquiry magazine, a journal of humanist thought. Dr. Britt studied the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia), and Pinochet (Chile). He found the regimes all had 14 things in common, and he calls these the identifying characteristics of fascism.

The article is "Fascism Anyone?," Lawrence Britt, Free Inquiry, Spring 2003, page 20.

The 14 characteristics are:

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of
prisoners, etc.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military
service are glamorized.

5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or
even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to
protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

Any of this sound familiar?

A quote from your GREAT LEADER

In the interviews with Washington Post Columnist, Bob Woodward, Bush described how he viewed his judgments as beyond questioning. Bush said, "I am the commander, see. I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being the president. Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they need to say something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation."

The words of a democratically elected President or those of the Emperor of the Planet Earth?

If this man is the Emperor we are in trouble. Bush shows off his literacy program:

Bush shows his skills as the Commander in Chief:

Americans Lament No Freedom Of Speech

By Tarek Hamdi, IOL Washington Correspondent

WASHINGTON, April 22, 2003 (IslamOnline.net) - Arcata, California State, has become the first city in the U.S. to pass an ordinance that outlaws voluntary compliance with the USA PATRIOT Act, as civil rights groups and think tanks lashed out at what they see as freedom-compromising measures in the country.

Arcata, one of the first cities to pass resolutions against global warming and a unilateral war in Iraq, has joined the rising chorus of municipalities across America to pass a resolution urging local law enforcement officials and others contacted by federal officials to refuse requests under the USA PATRIOT Act that they believe violate an individual's civil rights under the U.S. Constitution, according to a Washington Post report on April 21.

The USA PATRIOT Act (Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism) of 2001, adopted in the jingoism of post 9/11, is widely seen as restricting civil liberties.

Such bravado notwithstanding, came as intolerance is sweeping America.

The Pentagon address by the anti-Islam Rev. Frankling Graham on Easter Friday, April 18, the nomination of anti-Islam Daniel Pipes to the federally-funded U.S. Institute of Peace are just a few of such acts.

"Particularly Significant"

In Denver, under terms of a settlement between the city and the American Civil Liberation Union (ACLU) of Colorado on April 17, the police declared that it will no longer photograph, record license plate numbers or intercept e-mail of peaceful demonstrators.

The ACLU was established in 2002 on behalf of groups and individuals that included the American Friends Service Committee, an 85 year-old pacifist Quaker group, and a 73-year-old Franciscan nun.

"This agreement is particularly significant at this time when the White House falsely claims that Americans must sacrifice their civil liberties if they are going to be safe from terrorism," ACLU Legal Director Mark Silverstein said in a statement.

"As this agreement demonstrates, effective law enforcement does not require giving up our constitutional rights..."

"There has to be some point where we draw a line and say we're going to stop redrawing the line between liberty and security," Tim Lynch, director of the Project on Criminal Justice at the libertarian Cato Institute, said in a briefing attended by about 150 congressional staffers, lobbyists and members of the press in Capitol Hill on April 21.

Susan Chamberlin, Cato's director of government affairs, warned, “You're never going to have the day come when Congress passes a law that says, 'okay, starting now, we're a police state and law enforcement has every power we can think of.' Instead, what we see is incremental upward adjustments in the power of law enforcement and the power of our military such that somebody born in the United States last week is born into a considerably less free, and arguably not more safe, United States than his parents."

Actors Join Hands

The demise of free speech is not just being noted by civil rights organizations and think tanks.

American actor and director Tim Robbins, in a keynote address to journalists at the National Press Club in Washington, early April, said “In the 19 months since 9/11, we have seen our democracy compromised by fear and hatred. Basic inalienable rights, due process, the sanctity of the home have been compromised in a climate of fear. A unified American public has grown bitterly divided and a world population that had profound sympathy and support for us has grown contemptuous and distrustful, viewing us as we once viewed the Soviet Union, as a rogue state.”

Robbins and his equally outspoken wife, Susan Sarandon, stated that even their relatives are being ostracized for the couple’s expressions against war and the curtailment of civil liberties, and have received threatening e-mails and telephone calls.

Robbins warned that a “chill wind is blowing in this nation. A message is being sent through the White House and its allies... If you oppose this administration, there can and will be ramifications.”

The United Way cancelled Sarandon's appearance at a conference on women's leadership. Robbins and Sarandon were told that they and the First Amendment were not welcome at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

A famous middle-aged singer told Robbins that he could not speak himself because he fears repercussions from Clear Channel.

"Banished"

In Washington, veteran journalist Helen Thomas found herself banished to the back of the White House press briefing room and uncalled on after asking spokesman Ari Fleischer whether the U.S. showing prisoners of war at Guantánamo Bay on television violated the Geneva Convention.

The journalist appealed to all Americans that in the midst of what she called all this madness.

"Where is the political opposition? We need leaders, not pragmatists that cower before the spin zones of former entertainment journalists. We need leaders who can understand the constitution, congressmen who don't in a moment of fear abdicate their most important power, the right to declare war, to the executive branch."

She added that in this time when "a citizenry applauds the liberation of a country as it lives in fear of its own freedom, when people all over the country fear reprisal if they use their right to free speech, it is time to get angry. And it doesn't take much to shift the tide.”

“Our ability to disagree, and our inherent right to question our leaders and criticize their actions, define who we are," Robbins concluded.

"To allow those rights to be taken away out of fear, to punish people for their beliefs, to limit access in the media to differing opinions, is to acknowledge our democracy's defeat."

January 15, 2003

The United States of America has gone mad
John le Carré

America has entered one of its periods of historical madness, but this is the worst I can remember: worse than McCarthyism, worse than the Bay of Pigs and in the long term potentially more disastrous than the Vietnam War.
The reaction to 9/11 is beyond anything Osama bin Laden could have hoped for in his nastiest dreams. As in McCarthy times, the freedoms that have made America the envy of the world are being systematically eroded. The
combination of compliant US media and vested corporate interests is once more ensuring that a debate that should be ringing out in every town square is confined to the loftier columns of the East Coast press.

The imminent war was planned years before bin Laden struck, but it was he who made it possible. Without bin Laden, the Bush junta would still be trying to explain such tricky matters as how it came to be elected in the
first place; Enron; its shameless favoring of the already-too-rich; its reckless disregard for the world's poor, the ecology and a raft of unilaterally abrogated international treaties. They might also have to be telling us why they support Israel in its continuing disregard for UN resolutions.

But bin Laden conveniently swept all that under the carpet. The Bushies are riding high. Now 88 per cent of Americans want the war, we are told. The US defense budget has been raised by another $60 billion to around $360
billion. A splendid new generation of nuclear weapons is in the pipeline, so we can all breathe easy. Quite what war 88 per cent of Americans think they are supporting is a lot less clear. A war for how long, please? At what cost
in American lives? At what cost to the American taxpayer's pocket? At what cost - because most of those 88 per cent are thoroughly decent and humane people - in Iraqi lives?

How Bush and his junta succeeded in deflecting America's anger from bin Laden to Saddam Hussein is one of the great public relations conjuring tricks of history. But they swung it. A recent poll tells us that one in two Americans now believe Saddam was responsible for the attack on the World Trade Center. But the American public is not merely being misled. It is being browbeaten and kept in a state of ignorance and fear. The carefully orchestrated neurosis should carry Bush and his fellow conspirators nicely into the next election.

Those who are not with Mr. Bush are against him. Worse, they are with the enemy. Which is odd, because I'm dead against Bush, but I would love to see Saddam's downfall - just not on Bush's terms and not by his methods. And not
under the banner of such outrageous hypocrisy.

The religious cant that will send American troops into battle is perhaps the most sickening aspect of this surreal war-to-be. Bush has an arm-lock on God. And God has very particular political opinions. God appointed America
to save the world in any way that suits America. God appointed Israel to be the nexus of America's Middle Eastern policy, and anyone who wants to mess with that idea is a) anti-Semitic, b) anti-American, c) with the enemy, and
d) a terrorist.

God also has pretty scary connections. In America, where all men are equal in His sight, if not in one another's, the Bush family numbers one President, one ex-President, one ex-head of the CIA, the Governor of Florida and the ex-Governor of Texas.

Care for a few pointers? George W. Bush, 1978-84: senior executive, Arbusto Energy/Bush Exploration, an oil company; 1986-90: senior executive of the Harken oil company. Dick Cheney, 1995-2000: chief executive of the
Halliburton oil company. Condoleezza Rice, 1991-2000: senior executive with the Chevron oil company, which named an oil tanker after her. And so on. But none of these trifling associations affects the integrity of God's work.

In 1993, while ex-President George Bush was visiting the ever-democratic Kingdom of Kuwait to receive thanks for liberating them, somebody tried to kill him. The CIA believes that "somebody" was Saddam. Hence Bush Jr's cry:
"That man tried to kill my Daddy." But it's still not personal, this war. It is still necessary. It's still God's work. It's still about bringing freedom and democracy to oppressed Iraqi people.

To be a member of the team you must also believe in Absolute Good and Absolute Evil, and Bush, with a lot of help from his friends, family and God, is there to tell us which is which. What Bush won't tell us is the truth about why we're going to war. What is at stake is not an Axis of Evil - but oil, money and people's lives. Saddam's misfortune is to sit on the second biggest oil field in the world. Bush wants it, and who helps him get it will receive a piece of the cake. And who doesn't, won't.

If Saddam didn't have the oil, he could torture his citizens to his heart's content. Other leaders do it every day - think Saudi Arabia, think Pakistan, think Turkey, think Syria, think Egypt.

Baghdad represents no clear and present danger to its neighbors, and none to the US or Britain. Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, if he's still got them, will be peanuts by comparison with the stuff Israel or America
could hurl at him at five minutes' notice. What is at stake is not an imminent military or terrorist threat, but the economic imperative of US growth. What is at stake is America's need to demonstrate its military power
to all of us - to Europe and Russia and China, and poor mad little North Korea, as well as the Middle East; to show who rules America at home, and who is to be ruled by America abroad.

The most charitable interpretation of Tony Blair's part in all this is that he believed that, by riding the tiger, he could steer it. He can't. Instead, he gave it a phony legitimacy, and a smooth voice. Now I fear, the same tiger has him penned into a corner, and he can't get out. It is utterly laughable that, at a time when Blair has talked himself
against the ropes, neither of Britain's opposition leaders can lay a glove on him. But that's Britain's tragedy, as it is America's: as our Governments spin, lie and lose their credibility, the electorate simply shrugs and looks the other way. Blair's best chance of personal survival must be that, at the eleventh hour, world protest and an improbably emboldened UN will force Bush to put his gun back in his holster unfired. But what happens when the world's greatest cowboy rides back into town without a tyrant's head to wave at the boys?

Blair's worst chance is that, with or without the UN, he will drag us into a war that, if the will to negotiate energetically had ever been there, could have been avoided; a war that has been no more democratically debated in Britain than it has in America or at the UN. By doing so, Blair will have set back our relations with Europe and the Middle East for decades to come. He will have helped to provoke unforeseeable retaliation, great domestic unrest, and regional chaos in the Middle East. Welcome to the party of the ethical foreign policy.

There is a middle way, but it's a tough one: Bush dives in without UN approval and Blair stays on the bank. Goodbye to the special relationship.

I cringe when I hear my Prime Minister lend his head prefect's sophistries to this colonialist adventure. His very real anxieties about terror are shared by all sane men. What he can't explain is how he reconciles a global assault on al-Qaeda with a territorial assault on Iraq. We are in this war, if it takes place, to secure the fig leaf of our special relationship, to grab our share of the oil pot, and because, after all the public hand-holding in Washington and Camp David, Blair has to show up at the altar.

"But will we win, Daddy?"

"Of course, child. It will all be over while you're still in bed."

"Why?"

"Because otherwise Mr. Bush's voters will get terribly impatient and may decide not to vote for him."

"But will people be killed, Daddy?"

"Nobody you know, darling. Just foreign people."

"Can I watch it on television?"

"Only if Mr. Bush says you can."

"And afterwards, will everything be normal again? Nobody will do anything horrid any more?"

"Hush child, and go to sleep."

Last Friday a friend of mine in California drove to his local supermarket with a sticker on his car saying: "Peace is also Patriotic". It was gone by the time he'd finished shopping.

Here is another excellent source of Bush Business News and commentaries.

After the 1992 Los Angeles Riots - at a Bilderberger meeting in Evian, France: "Today, Americans would be outraged if United Nations troops entered Los Angeles to restore order - tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond - whether real or promulgated - that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from evil. The one thing that every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being, granted to them by their world government."

<<< NOTE - an "outside" force - could that be terrorists, or invisible biological agents? How about nations with nuclear weapons, or aliens from outer space? Also, Kissinger said that the threat could be real or PROMULGATED - a hoax - something made-up to create fear so that we'll willingly bow down to them.

Postscript: It is not the UN troops that we should be fearing, but instead the New World Order as implemented by Dubya and his stormtroopers. War on Terrorists, War on Iraq which harbors terrorists and WMDs, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan, Indonesia, .... until they all are under NWO Control. And, all the worlds people will be happy to have relinquished their individual freedoms for the benefit of our collective security.

Recognize this expression?
"There ought to be limits to freedom." - G.W. Bush, 5/21/99

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip  the
citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged
sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind...
And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils
with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing
the rights of the citizenry.  Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear
and blinded with patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the
leader, and gladly so.

How do I know? For this is what I have done.
And I am Caesar."

Think about it.......and then do something!
by Larry Dicken
I wrote this commentary back in mid-June, 2002, and it could be found near the bottom of this page. But now that Gulf War II is a reality, I think it is well worth another read so I have moved it up front.

Among all the stories, furious mass media reporting and political maneuvering, the Bush Administration seems to be skillfully diverting attention away from their main agendas, which they quietly pursue in the background based on executive orders and agency action or inaction, where appropriate to fulfilling the agendas. All the anger and ranting by the President, the Vice-President, the Press Secretary, the National Security Advisor, and members of Congress in both parties, as well as the mainstream media's and ranting pundits' focus only on these stories are only blinding the American people to the realities of continued connections, both public and covert, between the Bush cadre and our very enemies, their sympathizers and their fundraisers.

We should instead being focusing on asking real questions about the 9/11 event and what lead up to it. Just one example of thousands: how could the FBI reveal the exact path of the hijacker Atta from the time he entered the country to his death at the Trade Center on 9/11 only days after the attack? They must have been tracking him, right? Why didn't they stop him, or at the very least, why weren't high level authorities, the airlines and airport security alerted so that action could be taken to prevent his actions as well as those of the others involved?

But, the real story goes beyond 9/11 and associated terrorist activities. An important game is being played, with our lives at stake. It is a grand game of global power and economic control. If mankind is to survive, we must open the doors of knowledge and apply our collective will to end this game. The information is out there, and some of it is available on this very page. It is our job to learn from it and plan for collective actions to rid ourselves of the real "evil-doers," no matter the country of origin or which side, pro-American or anti-American, for example, on which they appear to be. This is a monumental task. Our opponents have generations of experience in playing their game behind them. I hope we are up to the task.

Another very concerned citizen of the world.

I highly recommend you read the following article, which provides an incisive look at the agendas to which I refer and a similar call to action on your part: The New U.S.-British Oil Imperialism.

Oil Companies Fight for Profits

Saturday July 13, 2:11 PM EDT

By Paul Thomasch

NEW YORK (Reuters) - War may be hell, but it can also be the saving grace for oil companies.

President Bush's war on terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have put a fire under crude oil prices. At more than $26 a barrel, crude prices in the second quarter ran about 30 percent above their historic average, although they were slightly below year-ago levels.

That saved the major oil companies -- including Exxon Mobil Corp., Chevron Texaco Corp., and Conoco Inc. -- from a disastrous second quarter. To be sure, quarterly profits areexpected to be down a steep 36 percent because of a deep slump in refining and marketing, but robust crude prices prevented things from being even worse.

"The quarter was a tale of two cities," said Michael Young, an analyst with Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co.

The problems the oil industry has experienced with refining and marketing, the so-called downstream, aren't new: Poor demand for jet fuel from airlines, mild weather and high raw material costs. But the slump is not hitting the industry as hard as it did in the first quarter, when profits were crushed down 67 percent.

"I would be very surprised to see losses again in the downstream, although it's going to be tough," said Fadel Gheit, an analyst with Fahnestock & Co. "These companies had everynegative going for them and not many positives."

Whether refining and marketing profits recover in the quarters ahead rests largely on how much motorists drive this summer and how cold the weather turns this winter.

Some analysts are betting on a turnaround, while most seecrude prices holding strong at least while the U.S. military remains in Afghanistan and threatening military action in Iraq.

By the third quarter, profits at major oil companies should be down just 8 percent and by the fourth quarter they are forecast to be up 54 percent compared to a year earlier.

"If you have to invest, you should look to Exxon Mobil or BP," said Gheit. "Your money might not grow, but rest assured it's not going to be like a dot-com stock, especially with the outlook for the commodity price."

Shares of the major oil companies far outperformed the broader stock market in the quarter thanks to the war premium carried by energy prices. But make no mistake, they still have not done well.

The Standard & Poor's index of major oil companies dropped about 4 percent in the period -- a reassuring move only when compared to a nosedive in the broader stock market that took the S&P 500 index (SPX) down 14 percent.

Fahnestock's Gheit, himself a former oil executive, takes a sober view of the industry he now covers as an analyst.

"If you buy a basket of oil stocks you will be ahead of S&P500 by at least double digits." said Gheit. "But I cannot encourage an individual investor to invest to lose 5 percent."

At the moment, only three of the 55 energy companies his brokerage covers carry "buy" ratings. The remainder have "hold" placed on them. Still, Exxon Mobil, the world's No. 1 publicly traded energy company, and other oil majors at least offer a safe haven for investors shell shocked by accounting frauds.

If nothing else, said Gerard Klauer's Young, "energy has been a great place to hide for the last several years."

My Opinion of the Public Opinion Poll Results
by Larry Dicken

The Public Opinion Polls - Are they believable any longer? Or, are we being fed fabricated data? Here is what they say about the American people today:

  • 75% think that Bush is doing his job acceptably or better. This approval rating has been sustained since he became President, despite all the problems we have had and has lack of any meaningful accomplishments other than throwing the Taliban out of Afghanistan so we can build our pipeline and giving a tax break to the rich which is now pushing us back towards the trillion dollar national debts of the Reagan/ G.H. Bush days. And, I don't seem to be able to find very many people anymore that agree with this poll result, as hard as I search.

  • 80% are willing to give up or water down their constitutional rights to various extents in order to achieve better personal security.

  • 50% have little confidence in our government's abilities to protect us from terrorists.

  • 50% have much less confidence in our economy and the financial markets now than before Bush was elected. Given the shinagens of Bush Family friends in the corporate arena that has unfolded post Enron scandal this statistic is born out  by the performance of the economy and the financial markets. But, it is still a fear supporting statistic so you don't have to fabricate a substitute.

What does all this mean? Our leader, a President who was questionably "elected," is portrayed as a great guy, who is command of every situation. But, we have been made to fear that our government can't protect us and that our society is falling apart. It means we are developing an appetite  for a sea change in our government towards a DICTATORSHIP of the elite.

Once again, I say wake up! Don't believe what you are being told to believe, which is to live in fear and look to your Great Leader for security. Let us hope our one ability to change this situation will still work this fall and in 2004. Cast your votes at the only real polls of our democracy.

OKC "John Doe #2" vs "Dirty Bomber" Padilla.
What an amazing coincidence.

Padilla, also known as Abdullah al Muhajir,  is 31 years old. That would make him 24 at the time of the OKC bombing. Prime terrorist recruiting age. In fact, it was reported today (6/12/02) that Padilla moved from Chicago to Miami in 1991, spent time in a Florida Prison and after his release, attended a Saudi funded Islamic center in Pembroke Pines, Fla.

The head of an Islamic center, Mualana Shafayat Mohamed, Imam of the Dural Uloom Institute of Pembroke Pines, Fla., said Padilla, a quiet man he knew as Ibrahim, took classes between 1995 and 1997 at the Institute with Islamic scholar Mufti Hassan.
Padilla moved to Cairo, Egypt in 1998 and returned subsequently to Miami, Florida with his Egyptian wife.

The OKC Bombing took place in 1995, with videos and eyewitness accounts showing John Doe #2 accompanying Timothy McVeigh in the Ryder Truck left in front of the Federal Building. Is this more evidence indicating Al Qaida involvement in the OKC bombing, making it a foreign based terrorist operation, and not the domestic operation we have been told it is. Who is to say that our "domestic terrorists" themselves were not recruited by Al Qaida?

According to Pakistani Intelligence Officials, at least six other Al Queda members with American citizenship, have been arrested in Pakistan and turned over to US Authorities so far in 2002. And, recall the Philippine connection of Nichols prior to the bombing. As we are now aware Al Qaida has active cells in the Philippines.

Examine the Evidence...

Contrary to yesterday's (5/16/02) desperate counterspin by the White House, Bush knew that hijacked aircraft would be used as suicide attack planes. There are too many facts, published in *mainstream* media, when put together, make this all too clear. I challenge you too examine the credibility of the evidence and show the courage and integrity to expose the cover-up.

The proof can be read at http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/051602_liewontstand.html .

Two other stories show the lie in in the administration's stated position. They are located at:

W Impeachment Movement Editorial: Nine Eleven

I have always maintained that if Osama Bin Laden had not been born, then Shrub and The Caveman would have gone out and created him.

I have always maintained that Shrub and The Caveman have used the tragedy of 9/11/01 to further their radical right wing political agendas.  In a letter to the editor published on 9/20/01 I pointed out that these two were using Osama Bin Laden, and the blood of others, to cloud the public’s memory hoping that no one would remember the way things were on 9/10/01 when this loathsome pair was being viewed as a couple of incompetents bent on ruining our once robust economy and serious questions were being raised legitimacy of the stolen Presidential election.

I have always maintained that Shrub and The Caveman knew more than they admitted about the likelihood of a terrorist attacks in America months before 9/11/01 and that they willfully ignored clear messages being presented to them.  In a letter to the editor published on 10/11/01 I pointed out that Shrub and The Caveman ignored the Hart-Rudman Commission report, a report that was chartered by the Department of Defense, that stated there was a high probability that “Americans will likely die on American soil, possibly in large numbers” due to a terrorist attack.  Instead, Shrub indicated that The Caveman would look into the issue of domestic terrorism while completely ignoring the fact that this is something that the authors of the Hart-Rudman report had already been doing for the past two and a half years.  As far as I know, The Caveman never once looked into the matter before 9/11/01 and now we know that this was not the only warning the pair received.

Today I am not writing to say “I told you so” because I am not the only one who reported any of these facts.  These facts were just ignored until now.  No, today I am writing to say why I think Shrub and The Caveman failed in their obligation to warn Americans of the imminent danger facing us and why they should be immediately impeached for their dereliction of duty—a felony offense.

It would be easy to pass off Shrub and The Caveman’s failure on the basis of ignorance.  Anyone who ever has heard Shrub speak publicly is aware of what a simpleton he is.  Even though every word and thought he has is written out and handed to him, he cannot gather enough brain power to say these words and thoughts in correct order.  He is truly a national embarrassment.

But blaming Shrub and The Caveman’s failure on ignorance would be too easy to do and, I believe, incorrect.  No the real reason they ignored the mountain of intelligence data they had in front of them was this: They rolled the dice.

Their subordinates saw the clear signs and read them correctly.  But, where a real President and Vice President would have been alarmed, they saw the data on Osama Bin Laden not as a threat, but as a window of opportunity.

Shrub and The Caveman realized that any attack on America by Bin Laden would be an excuse to invade Afghanistan —a territory highly coveted by their Big Oil buddies in Texas .  In an Editorial by Oil and Gas International dated 10/29/01 (http://www.oilandgasinternational.com/departments/from_editor/10_29_01.html) it is outlined how Unocal attempted to get on the good side of Taliban leaders after they took control of the country.  Unocal wants to build a pipeline 790 miles long that would stretch from “Dauletabad Field in Turkmenistan across Afghanistan to Pakistani ports on the Arabian Sea ”.  Of course, they would have to have favorable leadership in power in Afghanistan to do this.  When they could not strike a deal with the Taliban, they finally gave up their plans only after the embassy bombings in Africa .

In 2001, however, how happy must Unocal have been to see such a pro-Big Oil Resident like Shrub selected to the White House?  Not only that, he took another pro-Big Oil man with him in the form of The Caveman who is now Vice-Resident.

Well, Shrub and The Caveman knew that the FBI was concerned about the increased activity of Middle Easterners participating in flight school training in
