Cast Your Vote... To The Wind?

The election is coming. (yawn) Everywhere you look and listen, you can hear the promises and platforms of the hopefuls. Are you going to cast your vote for the person who promises to breathe life into this dying country?

Recently, I watched a video in which Jordan Maxell sharpened my vision through etymology. And so, in the Maxwellian tradition, I looked up the definition of the word "cast".

"Cast" is defined as a group of people acting in a play or film. How appropriate. The election, as far I am concerned, is nothing more than theater. Call it what you may, but do not trick yourself into believing that your vote is going to make a difference. To an aging cynic like myself, this whole fiasco is reminiscent of a Broadway show. Les Miserables? The Lion (lying) King ?

As usual, there appears to be little that is "candid" about the candidates.

Initially, many people threw the proverbial hat into the ring. (a little circus terminology) However, as the days became months, several dropped out, and now, all that is left are the "serious" contenders. Among them are ...... a woman. (or a reasonable facsimile) a person of color ( to the uninitiated, this appears to be progress) and even someone to appease the Patriot Movement. (who is Ron Paul?)

"Ron Paul, is he still running?" A local radio host asked me not long ago. Ron Paul was not even on the ballot at this Host's local polling place.

An often asked question is "How many people vote?" Google took this question to the next level: How many people vote for the US president compared to how many vote for American Idol???

And so, the campaign limps along toward November. On that long awaited day, the candidate that was chosen at the last Bilderberger meeting will emerge from behind the curtain.

An Internet personality recently said to me: "This agenda is above politics, as is the machinery which brings this Brave New World seamlessly together. Hundreds of NGO's shepherd us along the new green path, paid by the big foundations, interwoven with CIA, MI6 and all the rest. No one person could change this because it is a collectivist war where people give their power to a side or group that "speaks for them."

However, this election may distinguish itself. Perhaps it will be remembered as the "most ridiculously early-starting contest in the history of US politics."

Who Put The Sleeping Pill In "The Great Awakening" ?

Have you heard about "the Great Awakening"? According to several Internet hosts and guests, the populace is on the verge of waking up from its cosmic stupor.

"Hats and horns"

Please forgive the sarcastic Judyism, but I am having difficulty observing the "aha" moments. The snoring is too distracting.

Have you ever stepped outside the cozy world of the Internet "truth tellers"? Have you spoken to people who shut your mouth before you can utter the sentence "911 was an inside job" ? Have you noticed that the gap between the richer and poorer is growing? Have you observed how many people are struggling to climb to the lowest rung of Abraham Maslow's ladder of basic needs?

It is difficult to get too excited when both the main and alternate news programs talk about cataclysms, diseases, wars and, of course, terrorism. Are we still having alerts? Is it a yellow day? It's hard for me to tell with all the chemtrails blanketing the sky.

There are weather wars, megabugs, tainted vaccines, and weapons of mass destruction (sorry for the cliche ...but these are located on our soil, not over someone else's oil) We live in a electromagnetic soup. The dollar is sliding downward while prices are climbing upward. The Middle Class is magically disappearing from the landscape.

You have heard of Generation X and Generation Y. Well, we are presently in Generation Rx. People, both young and old, are popping their pills in an effort to stay psychologically afloat. That heaviness you feel in the air is a combination of depression and clouds of chemtrails.

Though his statements are admittedly bold, he's not without abundant advocates. But what may set this revered biologist apart from other doomsday soothsayers is this: Humanity's collapse is a notion he embraces. <snip> "This is really an exciting time," he said Friday amid warnings of apocalypse, destruction and disease. Only minutes earlier he declared, "Death. This is what awaits us all. . "Not many folk come out and talk about the end of the human population in as candid of a manner as he did. Dr. Pianka received a standing ovation at the end of his talk.

Is this the Great Awakening? Is it that we are all going to die and, as Ebenezer Scrooge said, and I paraphrase, "then let's get it over and decrease the surplus population." ?

I know that I am not much fun these days and I do not blame you if you do not invite me to anymore parties. But please believe that there is nothing that I want more than "peace on Earth". My problem is that I cannot play "let's pretend".

Unhappy Fourth Of July, America.

Are you ready for your annual celebration?

As you don your party hat, take a good hard look into the mirror of your soul. Do you like what you see? Can you beautify the face of hypocrisy with a chorus of The Star Spangled Banner?

On holidays such as this one, I long for those blissful days of my childhood; those days when the Fourth of July meant a joyous celebration of birth. We had claimed our independence from Great Britain and a new world (without the word "order" ) had been born. America was our land of opportunity and people came here to realize The American Dream. When did the dream morph into a nightmare? And when will we wake up?

What will you be doing on July 4th? Will you be singing "God Bless America"? Will you be barbecuing large hunks of flesh and washing them down with a "cold one"? "Pass the genetically modified cob of corn, please"

Will you be frolicking at your picnic, ooo-ing and ah - ing as fireworks flash over the evening sky? They are far more attractive than the daily decoration of chemtrails.

Can you play The 1812 Overture loudly enough to deafen and deaden the sounds of the devastation being done in our name?

Can you close your eyes tightly enough to blot out the pictures of the mutilated bodies of death and dying as we bring "freedom" to other lands?

Wave your Chinese made American Flag and we will all play "Let's Pretend".

I regretfully inform you that I will not be attending your party this year. My holiday spirit died along with The American Dream. And while you are singing "and the rockets red glare", try to forget that others will be listening to the "bombs bursting in air".

A Great Voice Is Stilled "Art is the signature of civilizations."

Beverly Sills died today, July 3rd, 2007

The world-renowned soprano who went from superstardom on the opera stage to become chairwoman of two great U.S. opera companies, had been suffering from lung cancer. And today, July 2, 2007, she succumbed to its ravages. A voice that thrilled countless opera lovers has grown quiet.

It seems as though Ms. Sills came into the world singing. At three years of age, she won a "Miss Beautiful Baby" contest, in which she sang "The Wedding of Jack and Jill" and at age four, she performed professionally on the Saturday morning radio program, "Rainbow House."

Her career continued skyward and by April 1975, she made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in The Siege of Corinth, receiving an eighteen-minute ovation. Sills was a frequent recitalist, especially in the final decade of her career. She brought her art to many mid-size cities and college concert series. Through appearances on such talk shows as Dick Cavett, Johnnie Carson and Dinah Shore, she helped to popularize opera. At a farewell gala on October 27, 1978, Beverly Sills announced her retirement. "My voice had a long, nonstop career. It deserves to be put to bed with quiet and dignity, not yanked out every once in a once in a while to see if it can still do what it used to do. It can't." Beverly Sills In the spring of 1979, Sills began acting as co-director of New York City Opera, and became its sole general director the fall season of that year. During her time as general director, Sills helped turn a financially struggling opera company into a viable enterprise. She also devoted herself to various arts causes as well as such charities as the March of Dimes. Although Sills' artistic life was filled with triumphs, her personal life had a great deal of tragedy. The legendary singer had a daughter who was born deaf and a mentally retarded son. She cared for a very ill husband for 8 years and resigned as Met chairman in January of 2005 to place him in a nursing home. Beverly Sills has died, yet she will live on in the hearts and minds of many. But what about those who never heard her sing? In this era of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, the true icons of the arts have been smashed by the sensationalism of shallowness. We have become a culture of lack of culture. And, as we spiral downward among the rapper's commentaries about "hos and Vicadin", the genius of a Beverly Sills might, for some, never have lived at all. I feel blessed that Opera was prominently featured in the scrapbook of my childhood. My mother was a coloratura soprano who, at one point, sang in the chorus of the Met. Like it or not, my Saturday afternoons were spent listening to Operas and, although I initially rebelled, the music eventually became a part of me. And so, today I mourn the loss of an icon. "I had found a kind of serenity, a new maturity... I didn't feel better or stronger than anyone else but it seemed no longer important whether everyone loved me or not - more important now was for me to love them. The Path Of The Psycho

Dr. Robert Hare, Emeritus Professor of Psychology, University of British Columbia, has spent more than three decades researching psychopathy. He has developed the Psychopathy Checklist (PCL) and its revision, the Psychopathy Checklist Revised (PCL-R) These lists have proven extremely valuable for the proper assessment of psychopathy.

Hare describes psychopaths as "intraspecies predators who use charm, manipulation, intimidation and violence to control others and to satisfy their own selfish needs." They lack conscience, they take what they want and do as they please, without guilt or remorse. "What is missing, in other words, are the very qualities that allow a human being to live in social harmony." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopathy Most people are familiar with some of the more widely publicized psychopathic murderers like Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy. These are men who have been quoted as having said some of the most bone chilling statements. For example, Ted Bundy said "I'm the most cold-blooded sonofabitch you'll ever meet and John Gacy called his victims "worthless little queers and punks". And yet, however extreme these cases are, it is important to bear in mind that they did not initially present with their psychoses. They were obviously possessed of a certain charm or appeal to lure victims into their sick world.

Nor do they, when the full story is known, appear to find this in an ordinary activity." --H.Cleckley, "The Mask of Sanity" In the 19th century, psychopathology was considered to be "moral insanity". But today, the definition has been broadened. It includes the "antisocial personality" or "sociopathology". The proverbial "person next door" could be a psychopath. The politicians you look towards for leadership could be psychopaths. Your Pastor, Priest or Rabbi could be a psychopath. And, lastly, the charming companion you are dating, or married to, could be a psychopath. I do not mean to scare you, but closing one's eyes will not make the situation go away. How many of us have ever heard, or said, "But he promised to change"? I have heard that sentence many times and, sadly enough, I have also said it. Bob Hare admits that he too has been suckered in by a psychopath. "I'm ashamed that I fell for Jonathan. But he was brilliant, charismatic and audacious. He radiated money and power. One thread that runs true is the psychopath's inability to feel compassion. They often possess a deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed. "They do not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. In their warped minds, the end always justifies the means. When they show what seems to be warmth, love or compassion, it is more feigned than experienced and usually serves an ulterior motive. As I mentioned earlier, politics is a field that attracts psychopaths. I am sure that this comes as no shock to my readers. Is it their lust for power? Could be. Are many of them groomed to "cremate their consciences"? I've heard tell. One thing is for certain. We are living in perilous times and many people have lost faith in leaders who have been caught lying and cheating repeatedly. History is being rewritten and those who have "eyes to see" are aware that much of what we learned in school has been fiction.

We have become disillusioned with the mainstream media as more and more lies are uncovered. We continue to watch the most obscene results of their commissions and omissions, like the devastation of Iraq. And so, in desperation, an ever increasing number of people have turned to what is called "the alternative media". We have become dependent on the Internet in our efforts to learn the news behind the news. However, I am sad to say that this group of supposed "truth tellers" is not free from psychopaths either. It has been infiltrated by agent provocateurs and haters of all shapes and sizes. They point accusatory fingers at one another, as well as their favorite hated target. Through distortions and blatant lies, they spread the most vile rumors and race hatred over the Internet.

Recently, I discussed this sorry state of affairs with a friend. During our conversation, she stated "There are psychopaths everywhere. It is not about Jews, Christians, Muslims etc, but about psychological deviants who use those ideologies."

Psychopathy research is rumored to be raising more questions than it can answer. Is there any hope? Is there a cure? It pains me to inform you that, according to psychiatrists, the answer is a depressing "No."

So, what can we do? Perhaps a good beginning would be to hone our skills of observation. If we become familiar with the traits that these parasites possess, we will be less likely to run the risk of being food for their sick appetites.

Dying To Help

On Sunday, August 20th, I attended a screening of a documentary called "The Toxic Clouds of 9/11: A Looming Health Disaster", produced and directed by Allison Johnson of The Chemical Sensitivity Foundation. It was a disturbing film. It was a heartbreaking film. It was a film in which workers and residents, who had been exposed to the toxic fumes of 9/11, shared their stories of illness, suffering and disability. These were the stories of people who selflessly volunteered in the aftermath of the World Trade Center disaster. These were the stories of people who risked their lives for their fellow human beings. And these were the stories of people who are now paying a deadly price for their heroism.

After 9/11, both New York City Mayor Giuliani and President Bush wanted to show that New York City was back in business. Before the asbestos dust had cleared, Giuliani notified city employees who had taken off 9/12/01 that they would have to charge the time off to accrued leave time. The New York Stock Exchange opened a week after 9/11. The Federal EPA under Christine Todd Whitman gave the area around the WTC a "clean bill of approval" without doing any testing. They completely ignored such obvious problems as the chemical haze in the area and reports of workers becoming ill after returning to work downtown.  Health officials deny it but many first responders to the 9/11 attacks seem to be getting sick or are dying at an alarming rate because of exposure to toxic chemicals. An NYPD detective died at age 34. An autopsy linked his death to dust exposure at Ground Zero. An FDNY medic was dead at 41. The doctors pointed to his "exposure to the World Trade Center disaster." In both cases, the city denied any link. Patrick Bahnken, Pres. On May 16, 2006, an article by Anthony DePalma, appeared in the New York Times. It was titled "Firefighters' lung Capacity Suffered After 9/11 Work". The article talked about a health study that showed that the city's firefighters had suffered a significant decline in their lung capacity after working at Ground Zero.

Despite the lies of Christine Todd Whitman, the air at Ground Zero was not safe. Ms. Whitman "forgot" to mention that it contained such chemicals as dioxin, mercury, asbestos and lead. But Ms. Johnson's documentary did not forget to mention those "small" details. In fact, there were interviews with legal and health experts who talked about these deadly chemicals that are now causing otherwise healthy people to develop asthma, cancer, heart and lung problems. They are coughing up blood. They cannot work. Their lives are a living hell. And they are all but being ignored.

-Many people are suffering with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Rachel Hughes' life has been severely limited. If she is exposed to cleaning products, perfume, cigarette smoke and a variety of other chemicals, her chest tightens and she has trouble breathing.

Christopher Hynes, a forgotten victim of 9/11 has a constant battle for breath. Five years ago, Hynes was a 30-year-old, healthy New York City police officer. Then, in September and October 2001, he was assigned to Ground Zero duty. He spent more than 100 hours patrolling the perimeter of the smoldering rubble of the twin towers.

Today, Hynes, married and the father of a 4-year-old son, has sarcoidosis, a disease that scars lung tissues. He also has asthma, a disease that inflames and obstructs the airways of the lungs. He coughs constantly and cannot exert himself without losing breath. He survives with the help of steroids and performs restricted duties for the Police Department.

"I will probably have this for the rest of my life," Christopher said. Five years ago, Winston Lodge was a 44-year-old ironworker who helped build things. He pitched in at Ground Zero for 12 hours a day, seven days a week, for a month.

Today, Lodge's nose runs constantly and often bleeds. He suffers headaches from sinus pressure, has shortness of breath from chronic bronchitis and has painful heartburn. He has undergone surgery to relieve sinus difficulties and is awaiting a second operation. Since 2004, Lodge, a divorced father of four, has been unable to work. How many people are suffering? I do not know. However, I do know that the numbers are in excess of 12,000. I also know that the numbers will continue to rise.

After the film, I spoke with Helene Verin, a volunteer who had fed the fireman during the first days after the WTC disaster. She is very ill. In 2003, she was hospitalized with a fever of 104 degrees. She cannot sleep and coughs all night. She has asthma and other upper respiratory illnesses. She suffers from a variety of maladies that have left 22 doctors scratching their heads. Physicians are not trained in occupational medicine and have difficulty evaluating the condition. They often wind up prescribing antibiotics.

I also spoke with Marvin Bethea, a Paramedic. He is presently on 15 medications. His organization is called Heroes Helping Heroes and can be found at www.unsunghhh.org.

 Their mission is to "advocate, disseminate information and raise funds to assist responders, clean-up rescue and recovery workers from the 9-11-01 World Trade Center disaster and other catastrophic events, in securing the necessary medical and psychological treatment, rehabilitation and pecuniary benefits". Bonnie Giebfried, an Emergency Medical Technician and Volunteer Firefighter told me about her multiple illnesses. Her vocal chords were burned, she has damage from her neck to her knee and suffers from many other toxic exposure problems.

Bonnie recalled that horrific day in 2201: "Our breathing was getting worse and worse. We were suffocating. We were literally starting to die, because the air was depleting. No light, nothing. It was completely, completely black. All we could think was, Get out. Get out.

Everybody was screaming, 'Smash the window! Smash the window!' Then it got really quiet, and I think that's when it dawned on us that we might not get out of there. I could barely hear people inhaling and exhaling. I could hear my heart beating."

Ground Zero workers were sent into 'the largest acute environmental disaster that ever has befallen New York City' without proper respiratory protection - and thousands are paying the price. http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/437742p-368865c.html

 Insurance companies have virtually turned their backs on these people. One woman, who was making $60,000 prior to toxicity exposure is now in debt for $60,000. Where is the help? Where is the humanity?

 One person stated "I wish I had died that day. This is not living. This is existing. I have become a different person. I am a horrible shell of an individual. Death would have been a saving grace."

A Musical Break

The world is filled with injustice. The world is filled with heartache. Amidst the constant cries of crises, there are few places that offer respite. Music is one such place. The intervals between the notes provide rest for the weary soul.

Music therapist, Jean Maas has said:

"Music is the greatest power I have ever experienced. I doubt if anything else equals its power to act upon the human organism.

Even for those who take the trouble to think about it, music remains fairly much of a mystery. You see, when we are dealing with music, we are not merely dealing with the energies of science nor with the art of mortal beings, we are dealing with a force greater than our finite minds can comprehend. Brahms said that when composing, he felt inspired by a power external to himself. . This incredible mystery has exerted its influence throughout the ages.

The civilizations of antiquity knew the value of music. Both Plato and Socrates gained distinction as musicians and regarded the art as indispensable to the health of the soul. It was used as a therapeutic tool by the ancient Chinese, Hindus, Persians, Egyptians and Greeks. In the first book of Samuel, it is related that David freed Saul from an obsessive depression using music. The Arabs of the 13th century had music rooms in their hospitals.

And today, music is till being used for its healing properties. The implications of these findings are vast. Young people spend many hours plugged into rock music, rap music, heavy metal or whatever their drug of choice may be. What are the possible effects on the heart, digestion, respiration, and emotional nature of this unsuspecting audience? Soft eggs were taken to rock concerts and placed at the foot of the stage. Midway through the concert, the eggs could be eaten hard-boiled !!!! Do rock fans and their parents wonder what this same music might be doing to their bodies? The Environmental Protection Agency in America has discovered that current generations of youth suffer from hearing problems associated with fifty and sixty year olds.

Many experiments have been conducted as to the effects of music upon non-human life. In one experiment, conducted by psychologists, rats were able to run freely between two separate but connected boxes Bach was piped into one box, while rock was piped into the other. The rats all spent their time in the Bach box. To test the purity of the experiment, the music was reversed. Gradually, the rats relocated to the new Bach box. (kind of a variation on "leaving the sinking ship, eh?)

Plant-music research has also been conducted. Two independent series of experiments, one in the Soviet Union and the other in Canada, have discovered that seeds of wheat can be made to grow faster when treated with tones. Another series of experiments showed that Bach's Brandenburg concertos made geraniums grow faster.

Dr T. C. Singh, head of the Botany Department at Annamalia University, India, has also conducted research into the effects of music on plants. He discovered not only that constant exposure to classical music caused plants to grow at twice their normal speed, but also went on to find what seemed to be one of the main causes of this accelerated growth. The sound waves of a musical instrument, Dr Singh found, cause increased motion in cellular protoplasm. (Protoplasm is the basic material of which all plant - and animal and human - life is made up.) ....In Dr Singh's experiments, the violin was found to be one of the most life-enhancing instruments of all. Altogether, life-enhancing characteristics as a result of music were shown in balsam, sugar cane, onions, garlic, sweet potatoes and other plants besides. Yet, perhaps the most interesting and significant of all of Dr Singh's findings was that later generations of the seeds of musically stimulated plants carried on the improved traits of greater size, more leaves, and other characteristics. We listen to the news and watch pictures of devastation in the Middle East. The heartbreak is palpable. It is easy to succumb to despair. Despair is not the answer. And yet, if we do not pepper the darkness with spiritual upliftment, we are useless to ourselves and to others. Music is my spiritual upliftment.. And, if only for a moment or an hour, I find myself soaring with the angels.

The Holy Babble

It was Sunday morning and, had it not been for the New York weather inferno, I would have headed to NYC to the Cathedral of St John the Divine. I love that place and always feel good after attending their services. The "love energy" is very much present. I have heard the Dalai Lama speak there, as well as Thich Nat Hahn. The place is truly awesome, visually and spiritually.

And yet, because of the heat, I initiated Plan B and decided to go to a New Jersey Church that I had not attended in many years. I recalled how it had had a great rock/praise band and a funny Pastor. "Was that a worthy reason to attend?", you ask. O.K., admittedly it was a silly one, but I figured that I could filter out the parts of the morning that did not appeal to me. Oh how wrong I was.

As I entered the Church, I noticed an American Flag and an Israeli Flag on the stage. Had they sent the Palestinian Flag out to be cleaned? This was not a good sign.

The sermon began with the Pastor making some innocuous comments about the weather. From there he segued into how we were in the beginning of the "end times" He talked about the war as well as "natural disasters" such as meteors and asteroids. Whew, .I breathed a sigh of relief. So far, so good. I had been there a half hour and the pain had been minimal.

And then...........all hell (whoops....how inappropriate in a church) broke loose. It started with a comment about the "brilliant" (his words) Condolezza Rice and how the press had manipulated an action of hers to make her look bad. My friends, Condolezza Rice does not need any help. She is perfectly capable of "looking bad" on her own. I shook my head back and forth.

But it grew worse. The Pastor began talking about 911. He tugged at the heartstrings of the gathered flock.

"How many of you lost people on that fateful day"?

He refreshed our memory with visions of the innocent jumping out of the windows of the World Trade Center. He was leading us somewhere and I shuddered to think. And yet, I could not have guessed where his runaway train was careening. The "wreck" occurred when he began trashing the 911 American Scholars Symposium which had been held in Los Angeles in June and shown on CSPAN Saturday night.

Pastor R launched into his full frontal attack. " I saw a symposium on television last night. I don't remember the man's name and I do not want to remember it."

My hand waved wildly in the air. His memory lapse had inspired me. I wanted to scream "ALEX JONES, radio talkshow host, documentarian and investigative journalist" but I exercised my weakest muscle, self control.

"This man blamed Israel for 911," Pastor R. continued.

" HUH? I, Judy Andreas, saw the Symposium twice last night and must have missed that part. As far as I could see, the only reference to Israel appeared to be the flag displayed on the stage near the Pastor.

Was I too distracted by Physics Professor at Brigham Young University, Steven E. Jones', compelling talk about the 911 PHYSICAL EVIDENCE for arson? Was I too absorbed with Jim Fetzer , publisher of many books on the government's criminal activity and the founder of 911 Scholars For Truth who gave a compelling talk? Was I too engrossed in Retired Air Force Lt. Colonial Bob Bowman's discussion? After all, Bowman had asked hard hitting questions such as "If the government has nothing to hide, why is it hiding everything? Why has it confiscated the evidence and hid the tapes? Why did it ship off all the forensic evidence to China?" Perhaps the "Israeli reference" had come while I was busy following Webster Tarpley's brilliant contribution on "state sponsored and criminal false flag operations"? Mr. Tarpley is the author of "George Bush:The Unauthorized Biography" as well as "Synthetic Terror, Made in USA." No, I had not missed the reference to Israel, because there had not been one.

Pastor R neglected to mention any of the anomalies that the esteemed panel had so eruditely described. What about NORAD standing down? What about the evidence for Controlled Demolition? What about the "pulling" of Building 7, which had not been hit by a plane but had molten metal underneath? What about the insider trading leading back to the CIA? What about the "supposed" hijackers who are still alive and have been photographed and interviewed? What about the suspicious cell phone calls? And on and on and on.

I was gripped with a sickening sensation. How could this "Holy" man have missed so much hard evidence? How could he not be questioning the official story? How could he not begin to have at least a glimmer of suspicion that 911 was an inside job?

Although the "House of Satan's Production" was not over, I felt an outburst welling up inside me and realized that if I did not exit, stage left, I would be escorted out of the room. I stood up slowly and deliberately, taking a long time to leave the room, hoping to call attention to my departure. In the parking lot, I regretted that I had not done a great deal more to publicize my truth, but, at the same time, my higher parts knew how futile it would have been. And so, as I sadly drove off, I realized that there would no more trips through this Church's "doors of deception."

Anyone that knows me knows that I have a reputation for never "giving up" on people. On Monday, I will send Pastor R a copy of The Report of the Citizens Commission on 911 compiled by my friends at The Idaho Observer.

I know that I can never give up. The US has gone from being a "shining light" to the most hated Nation in the world. We are warring all over the Middle East on pretext and lies. We are causing death and destruction to countless innocent people. We have swallowed a lie and have traded our liberty for tyranny. And, if 911 was indeed an "inside job", what is to prevent the perpetrators from doing another one? Where will it end? Use your imagination. We must expose the truth about 911 before it is too late.

Distracted and disgusted, I sped home, my thoughts obscuring the climbing speedometer. A policeman brought me back to my senses and, after an impassioned appeal, he let me go. Perhaps he intuited that I had suffered enough.

More Ritalin, Ma

"Why don't you write about something that is ruining my generation?" My son asked. I pondered the plethora of possibilities.

"Which thing?"

"Pharmaceuticals", he replied.

I hardly knew where to begin. As a retired Caseworker, I had had first hand experience with the drugging of our young people. The array of prescribed pharmaceuticals would fill up a medicine chest no less an essay. I decided to begin with one popularly prescribed pill, Ritalin.

My mind drifted back to 1995 when I first began working for Child Protective Services. I had been called to investigate a case of child neglect. The investigation always commenced with a visit to the school to question the child. I called the school and arranged to meet the child in the nurses office.

When I arrived at the Nurse's office I noticed a long line of children. I asked, "Why are these children lined up?" "They are here for their Ritalin", She replied nonchalantly. They have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The nurse's demeanor was the antithesis of what I was feeling. When did ADD and ADHD reach epidemic proportions? Where had this "problem" been when I was teaching in the New York City School System? Where had this "problem" been when I was attending school? I could not believe my eyes and could only suspect that some great hoax was being perpetrated on our young people.

Ritalin is methylphenidate, a central nervous system stimulant. Paradoxically, it purportedly quiets down the hyperactive child and makes him manageable. And yet, there are many people who question whether or not Ritalin truly works and whether or not there are long term consequences of putting a child on, what amounts to, Speed. The consensus is that about 80% of the children who receive the drug experience a quieting effect. I wondered if that was true. http://www.omnipotentchild.com/chfive.html

 I began to research some of the available studies. Many of them put an entirely different spin on this supposedly "harmless" pharmaceutical. Granger et al, from the Department of Psychology of the University of California at Los Angeles report a study in which they enlisted ninety-six undergraduate college students to view and make judgments about videotaped play sessions. These were videos of two different ADHD boys playing an interaction game with three normal peers. One of the target boys was on Ritalin and one wasn't. (See Grander, DA, et al., Social Impressions of Methylphenidate Effects on Hyperactive Children's Peer Interactions," Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology 21: 67-81.)

The observations of these undergraduates were evaluated and more negative than positive behaviors were detected. The interesting thing is that the "negative behaviors" were strikingly different.

The negative ratings for the placebo child (the one not getting Ritalin) reported three behaviors: non-compliance aggression disruption The negative ratings for the Ritalin child also reported three behaviors: social inhibition passivity submissive behavior.

The question arises: When a child is reported to be better on Ritalin does "better" mean more compliant, less aggressive, and less disruptive? For a teacher trying to control a room full of students, compliance and passivity are considered "desirable" qualities. However, are these the qualities we want to foster in our children? And what happens when these children grow into adulthood? Does Ritalin create critical thinkers and inventive contributors? Or, does Ritalin start our youngsters on the path to drug dependency?

 In another study, three covert antisocial behaviors were measured: stealing, destroying property, and cheating. Ritalin was found to reduce the incidence of the first two, but it increased the incidence of cheating. The authors speculate that this is because Ritalin enhances task involvement. (See Hinshaw, SP, Heller, T, and McHale, JP, "Covert Antisocial Behaviour in ADHD," Journal of Consulting Clinical Psychology April 1992 (60/2): 274-81.) At the end of the day, Ritalin may be have a calming affect, but it may also involve changes you or I would hardly label as improvements.

Many parents go along with the recommendation of the school and doctors. They do not question whether this drug will have any side effects or long term consequences. According to the head of psychiatry at the Vancouver Children's Hospital, Ritalin is not even as dangerous as aspirin. To me, this merely calls into question the safety of aspirin. (See the report in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area newspaper the Tri-City News, 26 August 1990.)

Further investigation reveals that the above is a gross understatement. The fact is that Ritalin has many known side effects. Some of them may be rare but others are quite common. Some of them are extremely serious. How many psychiatrists or school personnel tell parents of the possible consequences of the mummifying of their kiddies?

In a publication called Methylphenidate (A Background Paper) published in 1995,and available through the DEA, a few of the side effects were listed. They included palpitation, tachcardia, increased blood pressure, insomnia, psychosis, dizziness, headache irritability, Gilles de la Tourette's disease, tics, nausea, anorexia, dry mouth, weight loss, and growth delay.

Reports of psychotic reactions are rare but have occurred. Leukopenia, caused by poisoning of the bone marrow, is equally rare. Deaths from Ritalin have been reported as a result of teen-agers crushing Ritalin pills and injecting them intravenously. As for whether this drug is addictive, I have heard they some adolescents have now taken to snorting Ritalin.

My son has a friend who was put on Ritalin as a child. And now, at 23, he is in a constant struggle with pill and drug addiction. Another friend of mine has a daughter who was given Ritalin in Junior High. She has been in and out of rehabs in her 20's. Is this merely a coincidence? I seriously doubt it. Giving kids Ritalin to improve their behavior may help to make them more docile, but at the same time, it teaches them to look to drugs for the solution to life's problems. In addition, it may habituate them and make them dependent.

And now for the million dollar question. Are there really such conditions as ADD and ADHD and can they be "fixed" with a "pharmaceutical"? It seems to me that we have lost sight of what childhood is about. It seems to me that we have lost sight of what teaching is all about. Is it really about having a classroom of 30 submissive students sitting silently? Is it about teachers who are forced to pressure their children to get good grades on standardized tests? Is there any excitement and love of learning left? I seriously doubt whether there are any miracle drugs for squirming and boredom. And one thing I will say for certain, "Speed" is not the answer. It is not a life enhancer, it is a life reducer. It robs the child of his vitality and a great deal more.

Parents have also been lied to. They've been told that children have a neurobiological disorder. They've been told their children have biochemical imbalances and genetic defects. On what basis? Is it because they fit into a checklist of attention deficit disorder, which is just a list of behaviors that teachers would like to see stopped in a classroom? Because, my friends, at the end of the day, that's all it really is.

The Gluttonous American

It was a hot Idaho summer day when Stan and I decided to go to a water park for a cool outing. The Park was filled with water activities that were both fun and refreshing. While basking in a tube, we floated along the "lazy river." The current carried our sunning bodies under an assortment of waterfalls. People screamed with delight as the water hit them and pushed their tubes along. Another attraction, Boulder Lake provided an opportunity to do some jumping and screeching as the man-made waves challenged our ability to remain standing.

The place was filled with smiling, happy people. The place was filled with snacking overweight people. Stan and I were incredulous as we looked out upon the rotund gathering of fleshy folks filling their faces with their favorite foods.

The array of snacks for sale included ice cream sundaes, corn dugs and mountains of french fries. Everything appeared to be super-sized, especially the feeders.

Later that day, I telephoned my son and mentioned how stunned I was to see rolly polly children following in their parents footsteps ( to the snack bar). My son remarked.

"That's all over America," An article written in June of 2006 stated that 64% of Americans are considered to be overweight and 30% are obese. Even more shocking (and sad) is that 15% of 6-9 year-olds are overweight - twice as many as twenty years ago. It is no secret that obesity raises the risk of coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes and some cancers but people seem to put those unfortunate facts out of their minds as they lick lustfully on their ice cream cones. The USA's favorite indulgences include Pizza, fries and burgers. (and I don't mean veggie burgers) Eating out may initially be a time saver for the busy and lazy American but eventually it is a time waster as the consequences of the meals take their effect on the corpulent consumer. It is not unusual for the US citizen to eat over 30% of his/her daily calorie intake away from home. In the year 2000 the average person consumed 300 more calories per day than in 1985. In 2004, a movie was released titled,"Super Size Me." The Protagonist did an experiment on himself by eating all his meals at a fast food restaurant. Dare I mention the name of the restaurant? Would it dissuade anyone from getting their Happy Meals?

At the end of the month, the man had succeeded in putting on weight, raising his cholesterol and blood pressure and creating sundry other ailments in a once healthy body. It was frightening to watch how, early in the movie, his body rejected the rapid repast.....even to the point of regurgitation. But, as the month progressed, revulsion turned to addiction and his body craved its daily intake of speedy slop.

Our hero's foray into quickie meal fatdom added up to an obese food bill and frightening visits to the family physician. No, my friends, man cannot live on fast food alone.

In addition, the film explored the horrendous school lunch programs. It talked about the declining health and physical education classes. It explored food addictions and the extreme measures people take to lose weight and regain their health. http://supersizeme.com/home.aspx?page=defaultpage

People dream of being thin and the supermarket checkout aisles abound with magazines and newspapers featuring articles about the latest diet plans. It is indeed a strange sighting to watch a cart overflowing with yoodles, twinkies, ice cream, frozen foods and diet coke, pause briefly to throw a diet magazine on top of the heap of garbage.

 In an article entitled "Why Fat People Are Hungrier" http://www.txtwriter.com/onscience/Articles/dieting.html , the author came to a realization, after searching for the proverbial anti-fat pill that would enable him to grow slim while enjoying his favorite pastime. He concluded that there was no miracle cure.

We are at a critical point and it will take a Nation that is aware and alert to survive.

Sadly, as thighs explode and bellies hang over belts, the road to physical and mental fitness is becoming "The Road Less Traveled."

What a commentary ! We have become gluttons with active mouths and inactive minds. Unbeknownst to the populace, our world is exploding around us while we are busily exploding our physical bodies.

The Madness Of The Heart

Yesterday a hate bomb disguised as an essay was hurled into my mailbox. As I read the mean-spirited, vitriolic screed, I felt the usual sickness in the pit of my stomach. It has become a familiar feeling. I feel it every time I hear an ethnic slur directed at a human being. I feel it when I read about atrocities. It is a deep and overwhelming sadness. What has happened to our species?

The essay vomited upon my computer screen and although I was aware of some valid points, they were virtually obscured in a tantrum of anger and hatred. The writer behind the words was attempting to identify the sins and sinners who are responsible for the destruction of our planet. And yet, she merely became a tool of that very destruction she railed against.

And what will you do with your hate, dear writer? What will you accomplish? How will you make this world a better place? How will you unite the warring factions?

Last week I appeared on a cable-access show in Spokane Washington, hosted by a Native American Professor named Raymond Reyes. His belief is that "courageous conversations create caring communities". He provides a forum for disparate groups to dialogue. He allows people to tell their "sacred stories." Raymond Reyes is an alchemist. He transforms fear into understanding and hatred into love. His show is a place of healing. It is a place of hope.

My half hour appearance went very quickly; so much to say, so little time.

Raymond knew that I had been part of a newsgroup on which Jews had been referred to as "two legged garbage". We discussed my reaction and I read my response.

Even though I'd felt the pain and that awful sickness inside, I'd resisted the temptation to engage in battle. How could I fight this man when I stand on a street corner each Saturday protesting war? Cyberspace is no excuse for hypocrisy. And so, I attempted to dialogue. I wondered aloud what had caused him to hate. I wondered about his experience with Jewish people. I spoke with honesty and compassion.

"Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law" The Buddha

Religiously, I consider myself a "nothing" but in the eyes of much of the world, I will always be Jewish. People talk of DNA and bloodlines and perhaps it would be laughable if the consequences were not so dire. We have allowed ourselves to be manipulated by the projections of our own shadow nature and have volunteered to be our own victims.

"We are one, after all, you and I. Together we suffer, together exist, and forever will recreate each other." Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.

Am I saying that we should not speak up and speak out against injustice? Of course not. But speaking out is not screaming and cursing the darkness. Speaking out is spreading light on a suffering planet. Speaking out is finding effective ways to communicate.

Though the challenge is great, I believe we can rise to meet it. I believe that we MUST rise to meet it. There is no other way. The old way no longer works. The old way merely widens the divide and plays into the hands of the ruling elite.

What if we stopped attacking one another both physically and verbally? What if we stopped returning hatred with more hatred?  What if we all began engaging in "courageous conversations"? Try it. Begin with just one person. See what happens. Do not attempt to change that person........just listen to him. Listen with your heart. Allow yourself to really hear what he is saying. Watch how you begin to change. Watch how the world begins to change.

Today is March 20th. It is the third anniversary of a war based on lies. It is the third anniversary of a war that continues to devastate the lives of thousands. It is the third anniversary of the war in Iraq.

Events of protest have been occurring all over the world. On Saturday, I stood perched on a street corner in Nanuet along with my fellow Rocklanders. We have been protesting every Saturday for nearly three years.

Prior to our protest, I received a flier that read:

1. 2,315 U.S. troops have died

2. More than 17,000 U.S. troops were severely injured.

3. More than 100,000 Iraqi people have been killed.

4. Tens of thousands of Iraqi people have been detained and tortured by us.

5. Our own civil liberties have been eroded under the guise of protecting us.

6. Operational costs of the war so far: $250 billion.

7. Rocklanders have paid for the war $5,000 per household and more... We have turned Iraq into a living hell!

And so, each Saturday, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., we demonstrate against this unholy war. And, as the months turn into years, an ever increasing amount of car horns honk in accord with us. And yet, sadly enough, barbs are still hurled in our direction. These angry mouths belong to people who believe that we are traitors. These are the people who think that the war is justified. These are the people who have bought the official story that Arabs flew planes into the WTC. These are the people we need to address.

Although I believe that it is important to stand up and be counted, without the truth of 911, our story is incomplete. Without the truth about 911 this war may stop but other wars most certainly will begin. The troops may leave Iraq en route to another country but the country will not be America. Without the truth of 911, the American people will not wake up to the reality of the cruel hoax that is being perpetrated against the world.

How much longer do we have? How many more corpses are going to be strewn in the name of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" ? How many more countries are we going to invade in order to bring them "democracy"? How many more civil rights will we relinquish?

When I left Social Services, in December of 2004, I was a bit of an oddity. Having always adorned the attire of the "square peg" I was used to conspiracy jokes. My coworkers thought I was a lovable nut.

"Next you'll be saying Oswald did not kill Kennedy" Bill was serious.

Ultimately I grew weary of watching my coworkers gobble the daily news and contentedly belch on the latest lie.

I will never forget the day when a client and I had sat in the Housing Unit. Everyone was gathered around a newspaper, commenting on a picture of a mural that supposed terrorists had drawn on a cave wall. The mural depicted planes flying into tall buildings. Didn't gullibility have a limit? Perhaps it was not a far stretch from the pristine passport lying (lie-ing) in the WTC rubble. What will be next.....terror rap featuring Biggy Osama found in the crater at Shanksville?

Although I occasionally grow discouraged, I have, in the years following the WTC disaster, not relinquished my mission. Unlike Mr. Bush's, it is far from accomplished. The Internet may be a convenient place to preach the truth, but I am aware that it is the congregating place of the choir. My most gratifying accomplishments have occurred beyond the comfort of like-minded people.

Saturday, at the vigil, I met an ex coworker with whom I have had some email exchanges.

"Judy, thank you so much for sending me Loose Change; it is the talk of building C". Charlotte, an ex- coworker, was thanking me for sending her the link to Dylan Avery's remarkable video; a video that exposes the lies of the official story of what occurred on September 11, 2001. Charlotte had been so deeply affected by the video that she had sent it to other coworkers. A chain reaction had occurred and, before long, the building was filled with people who were understanding that 911 had been an inside job. If this was occurring in a small county in upstate New York, could be occurring all over the world?

In 1952, on the island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkey liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant.

An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers too.

This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists. Between 1952 and 1958 all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable. Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.

Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known. Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes. Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.

THEN IT HAPPENED!

By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them. The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!

But notice: A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea...Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes.

Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind.

Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the conscious property of these people.

But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!

The alternative press has all but legally changed its name to the alternative mess. "Back stabbing" and "name calling" seem to be the latest pastimes of the disgruntled and the disenfranchised.

Say what you will about the mainstream media: they may be liars but they are not fools. Does Bill O'Reilly talk about Rush Limbaugh's pill popping ? Does Sean Hannity discuss Bill O'Reilly's creative use of the telephone? Of course not. They are not being phony, they are being wise.

The alternative media, on the other hand, needs nobody to weaken our credibility: we are doing it to ourselves. How much energy is spent "name calling" and "back biting?" How are we going to enlist the help of millions of our brothers and sisters when we appear so childish and mean-spirited to those we are seeking to attract?

Recently, I read a wonderful paragraph by Rick Stanley, a card carrying member of the alternative news media. Stanley believes that there is no point in “attacking” certain individuals for their “mistakes” and “human failings”. He states that such actions damage the entire “Patriot” movement. Rick believes that we should stop pointing out what he characterizes as the “sins” and “mistakes” of others. He rightly professes " we are all sinners. "

AMEN Brother Stanley. What a simple yet powerful message. We all have skeletons in the closet. Demeaning one another is not an effective strategy for taking down the cabal that is destroying our planet; the cabal that is about to enslave us.

The latest contestant in the dart-throwing contest is a distinguished doctor. I have heard her talk about her triumph over cancer and have known people who have invested in her treatment plan. I have listened to her on Coast to Coast as well as the Gary Null show. However, it was Jeff Rense who gave her a monthly spot. And now, after years of promoting this doctor's videos and defending her against her staunch critics, Jeff finds himself the target of her accusations. One of her gripes is that Jeff mixes occult topics with her "preferred" New World Order expose.

Perhaps I suffer from poor vision, but I see no harm being done. I see no harm in providing readers with a vast array of possibilities. I see no harm in discussing UFO's. Quite the contrary. Since I have not researched the entire galaxy, I am open to the possibility that there may be intelligent life in the universe. It certainly does not appear to be residing on Planet Earth.

Although I have never spoken to Barry Chamish, I doubt whether he sees eye to eye with Ernst Zundel. And yet, they are both featured on Jeff Rense's site. There appears to be ample room for different points of view. There appears to be ample room for Christians, Atheists and New Agers too.

One of Jeff's most powerful attributes is that he allows his readers to arrive at their own conclusions, rather than to tyrannize them into a preferred point of view.

I like George Noory very much and am pleased that he has found a way to explore such crucial topics as 911. Two of his staunchest critics have routinely mocked George for his exploration of the metaphysical. They have complained that Alex Jones was George's favorite son. And yet, when given a chance to address a large Coast to Coast audience last week, the formerly critical duo had a cyber orgasm that could be heard Coast to Coast. How soon we forget. When opportunity knocked at the proverbial door, the critics blithely entered along with the "shadow people" and "time travelers."

Another voice of viciousness is the incredible shrinking show from France called "I Am The Witless". Day after day, the audience is subjected to "Tall Tales From the Crypto Jew" as this host frenetically hurls accusations most likely born of jealousy rather than research.

When is this going to cease? When are we going to stop feeding upon one another? When are we going to realize that "DIVIDED WE FALL" is a great deal more than a cliche.

We are up against a formidable and extremely diabolical enemy. How are we going to make our voices heard? One thing is certain. It will not be by fighting amongst ourselves.

Sometimes I grow discouraged. Sometimes I feel as if I am not doing enough. Sometimes I feel a helplessness, a hopelessness, a sense that nothing can be done.

Perhaps I am too busy looking at the big picture to acknowledge what lies right before my eyes.

Last week, I received an invitation to speak on a local radio show. It was scheduled to be a fifteen minute spot in which I would talk about my book, Judyisms. Having been a listener and frequent caller to the station, I was well acquainted with the conventional viewpoint held by most of the audience. Could I find the right formula to communicate my message, while, at the same time, being true to myself? Could I honor the parameters of the station without compromising my integrity? It was worth a try. And so, I accepted the invitation.

The interview began smoothly. The hosts, Steve and Sophia, introduced me and talked a bit about my background. We discussed my book and I was asked to read one of the essays. So far all was going swimmingly.

"What inspired you to begin writing?" Sophia asked. I responded by talking about the 911 conference I had attended on September 11, 2004, Confronting the Evidence. I mentioned the unanswered questions around the most traumatic day in American history.

Oh Oh. The three dreaded numbers had gone out over the airwaves, ...... NINE.... ONE...... ONE. There was no turning back, for in my brief explanation I had introduced a possibility that many of the listeners did not want to consider. I had mentioned the unmentionable. Had 911 had been an "inside job"? The question was blazing throughout the ether. The dart of doubt had been thrown at the board of belief systems and the studio was filled with the sound of phones ringing off their proverbial hooks.

"You believe that our government had something to do with 911?"

"You believe that our government would kill its own citizens?"

People were questioning more than my premise. People were questioning my sanity.

Most of the listeners had never heard of Operation Northwoods, so I seized the opportunity to make the introduction. I talked about the plan, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Operation Northwoods had called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. The phones kept ringing. I was being challenged from every direction.

"How do you feel about abortion?"

"Do you believe that FDR knew about Pearl Harbor before the event?"

"If you don't like this country, why don't you leave it?" someone dusted off that tired old comment. I responded with courtesy.

My mind drifted back to 2001 and a dinner party I'd attended; a party at which the events of September 11th.had been discussed. A woman named Evelyn offered the sobering comment, "If I thought that the government had something to do with 911, I couldn't get up in the morning,"

How many people in the listening audience shared Evelyn's sentiment? Were my words violating a place that some regarded as sacrosanct? I needed to be sensitive to others' realities.

The phone lines were jammed. And yet, in the midst of the frenzy, there were callers praising my words and courage. It was not only the praise that warmed my heart, it was the realization that certain truths were going out over the airwaves. It was the realization that there were many others who doubted the official version of 911 but had not been given a voice to state their concerns. What had been scheduled as a 15 minute interview became a two hour segment and I left the studio feeling encouraged. People were questioning. People were waking up. They only needed to be presented with the facts. They needed to hear the truth.

This is the time for activism. This is the time for all of us to speak out We must take back our country from the criminals. They are the few. We are the many. This is no longer about right and left, this is about right and wrong. .

We must continue to get the message out. We must not become discouraged. And we mustn't assume that those who haven't yet joined the movement, are uneducable. That is elitist, and unfair. Perhaps the progress is not as swift as we would like. Perhaps the progress will come one person at a time. And yet, one person telling one more person has the potential to ripple out across the earth. One person telling one more person can change our world.

On Sunday, January 15, 2006, a capacity crowd packed into St. Marks Church in NYC, to hear Webster Griffin Tarpley speak. The event was sponsored by 911Truth.org.

Though old man winter was having a tantrum outside and New York City was a combination of frigid temperature and wind chill, people braved the elements to hear the affable Mr. Tarpley give a remarkable presentation. His information was boundless and the audience could not get enough. An hour after the talk had concluded, people were still asking questions.

Webster Griffin Tarpley is an activist, historian and expert on international terrorism. He is known for his famous book, George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography which he wrote in 1992 with Anton Chaikin. Mr. Tarpley's latest bombshell book, 9/11-Synthetic Terror- Made in the USA, was released in October of 2005 and has recently gone into a second printing. It is a brilliant book that explores the attacks of September 11, 2001 as an example of state-sponsored, false-flag terrorism that was carried out by a rogue network within the US government

A mesmerized crowd listened to Webster Tarpley's explanation of the roles of the "patsies" (Mohammed Atta, Osama Bin Ladin), "moles" (powerful people in the government) and "professionals" on 911. He said that this way of operating has been standard in the US for many years. The patsies, dupes, useful idiots and fanatics are the scapegoats. (like Lee Harvey Oswald) The government officials are loyal to a private network and have to make certain that nobody interferes with the patsies beforehand. The professional killers shoot and leave.

Webster Tarpley took a survey of the people in the room, to ascertain how many people were seasoned 911 truth seekers. Many of the people were new to the information. In order to help put things into perspective, he summarized some of the anomalies inherent in the official story of the events of September 11th, 2001.

"There was no proof that the 19 supposed highjackers had any connection to 911." Tarpley asserted. He talked about the impossibility of "patsies" flying the planes and suggested that it was accomplished by Global Hawk, a remote control system which took over the crafts and flew them into the targets.

Tarpley even referred to the bulge on the bottom of one of the planes. There has been a great deal of controversy around this bulge, which was introduced in Dave Von Kleist's film "911 In Plane Site." Mr. Von Kleist has taken a lot of heat from debunkers.

"Such bulges should be taken seriously." Tarpley insisted.

"That was not a commercial aircraft", one woman called out. "I saw it....I was across the street from WTC at the time" She reported how much trouble she had had trying to get people to listen to her story..

Tarpley questioned why there had been no air defense for one hour and 45 minutes. His answer was "Moles work in the USAF and NORAD".

He talked about the plethora of evidence pointing to the fact that the buildings had been brought down by controlled demolition. The fires did not burn hot enough or long enough to collapse the World Trade Center. Tarpley mentioned such buildings as The Windsor building in Madrid, which burned for 48 hours and only a couple of the top floors collapsed.

Tarpley talked about the Pentagon and the size of the hole that was created by the supposed plane that crashed into it. He explained why it could not have been a Boeing that hit it.

Tarpley's talk demonstrated that the official accounts of the Pentagon crash, the fall of the Twin Towers and WTC 7, as well as the crash of United 93 in Shanksville were physically impossible. His facts made a convincing argument that "four misfit highjackers" being able to pilot commercial jets defied the boundaries of physical and technical reality

For some people in the audience this was a basic review, but others were hearing much of this information for the first time. They were incredulous.

The second printing of 911 Synthetic Terror - Made In The USA, is now available, and, in it, Webster Tarpley has included some of the newer information that has emerged in the past year; information such as "Able Danger".

According to Wikipedia:

"Able Danger was a highly classified United States Special Operations Command military intelligence program under the command of the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). It was created as a result of a directive from the Joint Chiefs of Staff in early October 1999 by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Hugh Shelton, to develop an Information Operations Campaign Plan against transnational terrorism, "specifically al-Qaeda." According to statements by Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer and confirmed by four others, Able Danger had identified the September 11, 2001 attack leader Mohammed Atta, and three of the 9/11 plot's 19 hijackers, as possible members of an al-Qaeda cell linked to the '93 World Trade Center Attacks. The group used all information legally collected under the rule of law. Primarily consisting of classified information, all publicly obtained information was approved after a legal review of SOCOM lawyers. The early identification of the four hijackers by Able Danger appears to contradict the official conclusion of the 9/11 Commission, that American intelligence agencies had not identified Atta as a terrorist prior to the attack. This has resulted in a political controversy that has begun to damage the credibility of the bipartisan 9/11 Commission."

Supposedly, a small group of intelligence employees ran "Able Danger" from the fall of 1999 until February 2001 - just seven months before the terrorist attacks - when the operation was axed. To link Mohammed Atta to al-Qaeda, the operation's information technology specialists used data mining and fusion techniques to search terabyte-sized data sets from open sources - such as travel manifests, bank transactions, hotel records, credit applications - and compared this material with classified information. During the operation's life cycle, the group sought help from the CIA, but the agency was reluctant to cooperate.

Tarpley's bold assertion is that "Able Danger" did not involve a group whose purpose was to "observe " Atta and his cohorts, but rather, it involved a group whose purpose was to "control" them. "Able Danger are the controllers," Tarpley stated. "They helped Atta get through the day....they gave him money ....they told him what to do....how to behave."

Interestingly, to date Able Danger has not been allowed to testify and has managed to destroy their own records. Apparently, they have destroyed approximately 2.5 terabytes of data.

Another fascinating presentation was Tarpley's detailed account of the 15 drills which were conveniently occurring on the day of September 11th.

"It was the highest concentration of military drills in United States history, " he stated.

People traditionally view drills as a protective strategy when, in reality, they are quite the opposite. The purpose of the drills is to deceive; often there comes a day when the drills morph into the real deal. Such a day was September 11, 2001.

Tarpley surprised a great many of the attendees by declaring that he believes George Bush and Dick Cheney were told very little prior to September 11, 2001. He said that the President and Vice President have merely been puppets since FDR's administration. People who feel that all the problems will be solved when this duo is no longer in power are missing the larger picture; they are unaware of the rogue government puppeteers. The President has merely become the salesman of the myth of September 11th.

Mr. Tarpley included a detailed explanation of the various schools of 911 analysis, beginning with the official version of the story. He talked about the LIHOP crowed (those who believe that the government LET It Happen On Purpose) and the MIHOP group (those who believe that the government MADE It Happen On Purpose), Tarpley is a MIHOP.

The one area in which I disagreed with Webster Tarpley was his insistence that the Mossad had little, if anything, to do with the events of 911. He dismissed the group of "celebrating Israelis" and stated that the Mossad is always watching us, and before he will incriminate them, he needs to be shown more conclusive evidence. I believe that evidence is there to be found.

Tarpley talked about his anger at Ward Churchill who he believes is the worst of the "left gatekeepers". Churchill has stated that if you don't believe the official version of 911, you are a racist, for you are denying the capacity of Arabs to execute such a maneuver. This line of reasoning merely props up the official story with "we deserved it" rhetoric.

Webster Tarpley talked about the telephone call between Putin and Bush. Apparently, Bush had given Putin an ultimatum stating that the United States intended to take over Afghanistan and other Central Asia bases. Putin, being quite clever, offered no resistance. He knew that the United States would merely weaken itself by such an action. This has become a reality, for as Russia is building itself up, the United States has become vastly unpopular.

"We are in a world financial crisis," Tarpley continued.

Tarpley believes that the reason for the crime and tragedy of 9/11 was to save the US/British Empire from falling, by providing an excuse to destroy countries that have planned to change the currency in which they trade from US Dollars - which support the Empire - to Euros, thus leading to the fall of the US/British dollar Empire of the world. The fall of the US Dollar would halt the possibility of US world domination. The so-called "War on Terror" is really a war on the countries that threaten to bring down the US Empire And now, towards the end of March, Iran will start trading in Euros.

"911 is the key to stopping World War 3", Tarpley concluded.

I have only touched on a small part of the lecture. To truly understand what was being shared, I strongly recommend purchasing Webster Griffin Tarpley's book, 911 Synthetic Terror - Made In The USA. It should be required reading for all honest truth seekers.

The hardest job lies ahead of us. We must extend ourselves beyond the walls of St. Marks Church. We must go out into our communities. We must organize events. We must talk to people. We must show videos. If we are to have a future at all, the truth of September 11, 2001 must be revealed.

The Word 'Jewish' Does Not Begin With Z

Though I no longer identify with the Jewish Religion, there are many who still consider me Jewish. More importantly, however, I have friends and family who are Jewish. These people are righteous people. They are not sitting around planning the takeover of the world, nor are they supporters of apartheid Israel. None of them has been invited to tea at the Rothschilds. Most of them are clueless about the racist Talmud, as I was at one time.

It always saddens me when I see people who clump Jews and Zionists together I realize that there are those who honestly do not recognize the difference, however, there are others who are motivated by a deep hatred for Jewish people. The other day, I was listening to a show on Internet radio. The guest was an ardent anti-Zionist. I agreed with much of what she said. However, when a Jewish woman called in, the guest implied that the caller was being duped. She implied that all the higher ups in the Jewish religion are card carrying Jewish Supremacists who are racist Talmud thumpers. The caller was appalled. She talked about how loving the Rabbi at her Temple was. She talked about her anti- Israel feelings. She talked about how the guest's diatribe was merely creating a backlash. My heart went out to the caller and I knew that I had to write something. I only hoped I could be equal to the task.

Words are a sadly imperfect vehicle upon which to carry such a sensitive message. I have always striven to be fair. I have been outspoken regarding my feelings about apartheid Israel and its sins against the Palestinians. I have pointed a finger at Mossad involvement in 911. I have written about the death of Freedom of Speech and the travesty of what is being done to people like Ernst Zundel and others who have merely dared to question. And, as a result of my writings, I have been targeted by Zionists who have called me names and made my life extremely uncomfortable. And yet, while I have attempted to be fair, I have also cringed at those who insist on painting all Jewish people with a broad brush. I have read essays in which the writer has combed the depths of obscure Jewish sects to find practices that the average Jew finds repulsive and grotesque. I have read essays which refer to Jewish people as soulless. The result is that people, who do not know any Jews, imagine that we sit around drinking blood and nibbling on sacrificed babies. It's astounding that there are those who believe that "all Jews have horns."

 The result has been an ever widening, ever more hateful divide. It pits Jews against Gentiles and, at the end of the day, plays right into the hands of the people who are looking to enslave us. Their divide and conquer strategy is alive and well and living amongst us. People who have any familiarity with the events of World War two, are aware of how the Zionists sacrificed their Jewish brethren as a means to get more sympathy for the State of Israel. When I began my incarnation as an Internet essayist, I knew nothing about The Talmud. I thought it was merely a book of laws. I soon learned that it was a book filled with hate against non-Jews. I was thoroughly confused. After all, my father, who was one of the kindest, gentlest men I'd known, had studied the Talmud. I had never heard the "g" word mentioned in my home. And when my sister and I married out of the religion, nothing hateful was said and the grooms were welcomed into the family. My father's philosophy was that we are all children of God. And yet, people I knew on the Internet were quoting abhorrent lines from the Talmud. I began my search for the truth among people I knew. I spoke with a Protestant man who had, at one point, begun a conversion to Judaism. I asked him if he had read the Talmud. He said that he had to study it. I asked him if there was anything racist in it and he replied that there was not. An Orthodox Jewish Doctor became my next interviewee. I asked her about the Babylonian Talmud and the comment that "it is preferable to lie down with animals than to lie down with non-Jews". She said that she had never heard of such a thing. "Why would Abraham have been commanded to lie down with Hagar?" A non Jewish friend sent me a DVD she had made of an interview with a man who belongs to a group called True Torah Jews. This gentlemen, quoting the Talmud, remarked that it was a sin to steal from Jews and non Jews alike.

My confusion grew. I consulted with the always knowledgeable, ever present google. "Is the Talmud racist?" I asked. A plethora of articles leapt onto my screen. Michael Hoffman is often quoted for his writing about the racism in the Babylonian Talmud and the guest on the talk show had referred to him as well. Here are a few of the many examples that Mr. Hoffman gives from the Babylonian Talmud. Hitting a Jew is the same as hitting God -Sanhedrin 58b. If a heathen (gentile) hits a Jew, the gentile must be killed. O.K. to Cheat Non-Jews - Sanhedrin 57a . A Jew need not pay a gentile ("Cuthean") the wages owed him for work. Jews Have Superior Legal Status - Baba Kamma 37b. "If an ox of an Israelite gores an ox of a Canaanite there is no liability; but if an ox of a Canaanite gores an ox of an Israelite...the payment is to be in full." Jews May Steal from Non-Jews - Baba Mezia 24a . If a Jew finds an object lost by a gentile ("heathen") it does not have to be returned. (Affirmed also in Baba Kamma 113b). Sanhedrin 76a. God will not spare a Jew who "marries his daughter to an old man or takes a wife for his infant son or returns a lost article to a Cuthean..." Jews May Rob and Kill Non-Jews - Sanhedrin 57a . I can well understand how anyone who has read the list of racist quotations and believes that all Jewish people think this way, would be furious and disgusted. And yet, is there more to the story? I needed to know. I came upon an article entitled: Is the Talmud racist? How do I defend Judaism against these accusations? "Q: I am a Jew living in Dallas TX. I was watching news following the Presidential election and candidates. I was watching a news article on Pat Buchanan. They spoke of a white power activist group backing Pat. I was shocked to see what I had found. There was a section on the Talmud. Now I have not studied the Talmud or anything of that sort but was surprised at what I saw. Living in the south I am bomb-barded with questions and attacks dealing with things of this nature. How does a Jew defend themselves when asked a questions of this nature? Where are they getting these writings? Although the second article gave me insights, it did not thoroughly negate the possibility that the Talmud was indeed a racist document. And yet, I suspect that the Jews who still mouth those beliefs are in the minority. I would venture to guess that most Jewish people are not privy to that version of the Talmud. I would venture to guess that the quotes may belong to an era which no longer exists and has little to do with today's civilization. To measure all Jews with a supremacist yardstick is akin to saying that all Christians chant in front of a 40 foot owl or all Catholics are pedophiles and cannibals.

A wonderful man recently said to me "Judy, you have restored my faith in Jewish people. Before I met you, I thought that all Jews were winking and nodding and planning to take over the world" His words aroused both a sense of gratitude as well as a sense of sadness within me. I realized how easily people have stereotyped ALL Jews because of the sins of SOME Jews. Perhaps I am unique or maybe I am not. I know that there are many who are far more outspoken than I. I suspect that there are others who are just too frightened to come forward. Organizations such as the ADL can make life a living hell. Perhaps there are Jews who retreat into fear and paranoia when they read the endless accusations and gross distortions. Perhaps there are others who strike back while pictures of the popularized version of the Nazi Holocaust play on the movie screens of their minds. Too many people have been effectively silenced.

 And yet, it doesn't have to be this way. Not long ago, a man on the Internet made a statement that there are no poor Jews. Having been a poor Jew for many years while I raised three children, I was aghast at his remark. Having interfaced with many poor Jews, I could only shake my head in amazement. Having had friends whose husbands had abandoned them when their children were small and they had been forced to work themselves out of the hell of welfare, I could hardly believe that this gentleman was serious. And yet, when you deal in stereotypes and hate rhetoric, you begin to believe the lies. You become a perfect pawn for the New World Order. There is a great divide and it is growing wider with each passing day. We have reached crisis proportions. Divided we will certainly fall. It is imperative that we look beyond the labels and the stereotypes. Jews and Gentiles alike are being manipulated by diabolically clever strategists. Perhaps a disproportionate amount are Jewish, I haven't counted. I only know that we must find a way to communicate with one another. I only know that our bigotry and endless finger pointing are perfect fodder for the "divide and conquer" strategy of our manipulators. "Blessed are the peacemakers."

People regard them as eyesores. The homeless litter your landscape. They seek refuge in doorways and on park benches. You turn away from them in disgust. You step over them with thoughts of condemnation. You see them as less than human. You see them as a visual nuisance. "They created their situations," you tell yourself.

How easily you rationalize your inhumanity.

No, my friends, they are people. They are flesh and blood, just like you. They have hearts and souls and, perhaps, at one time, they too had dreams. What happened to those dreams?

Why are these human beings on the street? Why are they destitute? Why are they cold and hungry? Perhaps it's not for you to know and certainly not for you to judge. But don't turn away. It's a very short distance from your warm living room to the street.

When my children were small, I would spend one Saturday a month volunteering at a soup kitchen in New York City. Sometimes I would bring my children with me.

The first time I worked at Saint Ignatius Church, I had no idea what to expect. I, and the other volunteers, scurried around preparing a meal that consisted of hot soup, a sandwich, a hard boiled egg, coffee and dessert. Since the winter had not yet settled over New York, we set up tables outside. And then the people arrived. It was a line that never ended. It was a line of ragged clothing and hungry mouths.

"The line never stops," I said to a co-worker. She nodded. I wondered if I could ever become desensitized to the specter before me. No, never.

Many of the homeless I've met have been physically and mentally ill. Some of them have drowned their despair in liquor or drugs. Some of them have shared their dreams. Some of them do not speak.

Judge not lest ye be judged.

There are limited services for the homeless. In the eyes of the populace, they are merely useless feeders. They have been cast out on the street by a cold and indifferent society. They have been cast out on the street by people who rail against humanity. They have been cast aside by people who are quick to point a finger halfway around the world; people who write screaming screeds, while in their street humanity bleeds.

And now, my youngest son is 23 and he has a female friend who volunteers at a Homeless Shelter. Last week, Jesse accompanied Heather on her mission of mercy. They cooked dinner for the group and slept at the shelter. In the morning they cooked breakfast. After breakfast, the people are tossed back out on the street.

"Homeless people are just like us," he told me. But that wasn't all he had to say. He had a tragic story to tell.

Jesse told me about the man with the colostomy. A policeman had approached the man assuming that the bulge under his clothes was a bottle of liquor. He demanded that the man hand it over. The man was confused and stood immobilized. The policeman grew angry at what he interpreted to be lack of compliance. He repeated his order. The man looked at him with childlike innocence. The policeman could no longer contain his rage. He punched the man in what he assumed was the contraband. The man died. There were no charges brought against the policeman.

The Prison Break

My email can be a source of pain or a source of pleasure, the choice rests with me. The senders provide the information but it is I who determines the manner in which it is received.

My philosophy has always been to investigate everything that is placed in my path. You may consider this a colossal waste of time, yet I consider it imperative to my pursuit of truth. It is far too easy to reject that which is confusing or unpleasant. It is far too easy to delete words that may possibly provide an answer to the questions which haunt me. There is always the possibility that among the hundreds of letters, lurks the pearl of great price. Will I dismiss those words or will I read and reread them?

And so, when I received a series of emails from a man who I will simply call Steve, I did not pounce on my delete key. I carefully studied what this man was telling me. I wanted to know more, so I headed to New York City to meet him at a restaurant and listen to his message. There are times when we must trust our instincts. There are times when we must look beyond the scars of past disillusionment.

In the true spirit of paradox, Steve's message was both disturbing and hopeful. He began by describing events that had happened to him. I was transfixed by the extraordinary. Next he showed me pictures on his laptop; clear depictions of the symbols which exist all around us, symbols that we rarely see. He told me about the Prison Planet in which we reside; the endless loop in which we are stuck.

The truth shall set you free.

Many people have used the expression "Prison Planet" to describe this third rock from the sun. Is this merely a catchy phrase or is it a chillingly accurate description? How many people seriously believe that we are, indeed, living in a prison? Acknowledging this truth is the first step.

The Holy Books tell us that everything is "one". The sages tell us that there is no division except that which the mind creates. The psychologists talk about the ego and the sense of the separate self. We shake our heads in confusion. How could the world of "the many", in reality, be but a trick of the mirror? Could it be true that beyond the appearance of duality, lies "the one?"

It is easy to point your finger at a designated "enemy" and suggest ways in which to defeat it. Have those ways ever worked? Have we ever had peace? If this is merely "the one" pretending to be "the many", then there is no victory for either side of the polarity In the world of duality, how can you have "good" without "evil"? Isn't that akin to having "up" without "down"? Is peace possible when we are at war with ourselves?

When you give your attention to one side of the polarity, you energize the other side and, at the end of the day, your results are in opposition to the stated goal. It is the illusion of "us" and "them". You have unwittingly widened the divide and added more bars to your prison cell. .

Arguing with a supposed enemy is the arena in which energy becomes enervated. Do you really think that you are going to change someone's mind? Do you seriously believe that you will scream him into submission? Will you accomplish anything or merely solidify his position? Inform someone that he is a racist. Does he respond, "Oh, thanks for pointing that out," or does he instead, defend his position with renewed vigor?

Am I making a case for doing nothing ? Hardly. Inactivity is not the answer but prudent activity just might be. How are you going to enlighten your fellow beings? How are you going to enlighten yourself? Emotionally backed words are either weapons or tools. How are you going to use them?

"God is love." People repeat the words as they mindlessly exit from man-made houses of worship. "Jesus said that we should love our enemies and bless those who curse us. Now, let's go and level the Middle East".

Some people cling to their anger as if it were a lover heading out the door. Let it go. Hatred and anger are dangerous addictions and addictions are the wardens in this prison.

"I have free will," you argue.

"Free will or controlled choices?" I respond.

Should we go to war this year or next year? Should I vote for Bush or for Kerry? Should I watch channel 4 or channel 7?

Remember when you were a child and your mother couched her demands under the guise of choices? "Would you like spinach with chicken or with a burger? Were you really getting a choice, or were you getting spinach, like it or not? Your freedom to choose had been deceptive. It was not freedom at all. It was merely a device to get you to eat your spinach. Parents have been using this technique for generations. But parents are not the only ones who have learned how to get their children to obey. Uncle Sam has outfoxed mom and pop. Uncle Sam knows that we are merely children in aging bodies. Uncle Sam knows how to manipulate our behavior.

Coffee in the a.m. and it's off to work.......television in the p.m. and it's time for sleep.

Forget your 1950's sitcom view of reality. We live in a world of death and decay. Look around you. There is pain and suffering on Planet Earth. Our lives are shortened while we misuse and abuse our bodies, our minds and one another. Is this the way the Creator intended it to be? Perhaps you had better remove that blindfold before it becomes so deeply imbedded in your flesh that the best doctors will not be able to amputate it. .

Listen to that still, small voice that is whispering in your ear, for it is the whisper of truth. Listen while you still have ears to hear. Turn off your television and look around you. Do you see more and more antennas on buildings? Do you see more and more cameras on street lamps? Are they keeping us free from the terrorists? Who are the terrorists? Who is keeping you incarcerated? Who holds the key?

Highway Of Hope Or Highway Of Hate

Many of my previous essays have lauded the Internet as a place where real news can break through the main stream of armed guards and story suppressors. I have called it a "Rescue Net", a place where the truth can triumph. However, as in all other phenomena on this plane of duality, the Internet has a darker side. This "censor free zone" is too frequently used by people who need to unleash their venom, their envy and their lies.

The Internet can be a messenger of cruelty and disinformation. For, along with the courageous and the just, lurk the warped; the mentally deranged. My mailbox is filled with a great deal of activity these days. Much of the contents are from kindred souls; people I feel blessed to know. Among the myriad of missives, there has been a plethora of articles and comments about the Zionists and/or the Jews. (Although there are people who use these words synonymously, I am not one of them). This latter array often presents a challenge for me. It forces me to get past my own biases, my own conditioning, and attempt to read the epistles with an open mind.

After all, had it not been for the Internet, would I know what is really going on in the Middle East? Would I be privy to truths that are rarely, if ever, discussed in our mainstream newspapers or viewed on the local news stations? Would I know about the subjugation of the Palestinian people and the horrors of their livi
